108. George Moreland (or Morland) SPENCER(242) (167)(243) was born on 27 Sep 1871 in Richmond, IN.(244) (245)(246) He died on 10 Mar 1938. He was named after George Spencer (1787-1876) of Mooreland, Pennsylvania, son of John and Lydia Foulke Spencer.(247)

He was married to Grace Eugenia TIBBETS (daughter of Eugene K. TIBBETS) on 26 Jun 1895.(248) Grace Eugenia TIBBETS (249)(250) was born in 1871. She died on 23 Oct 1944. A newspaper clipping of the probate of Grace T. Spencer's will states:
"The will of Mrs. Grace T. Spencer was admitted to probate yesterday. The estate is estimated to be worth $265,000. One-half interest in the residuary estate is bequeathed to a nephew, Wallace B. Tibbets, Jr., who also is to receive the home at 701 E. Washington St., a property at 114 N. Vine St., and household goods and personal effects.
"One-third of the residue of the estate after specific bequests are fulfilled is left to a brother, Elliott R. Tibbets. The following other persons are to receive amounts from the estate: Gertrude Spencer McCurdy, $2,000; George F. McCurdy, $1,000; Mrs. George Esterkauf, $2, 000; Mrs. Rose H. Tibbets, $2,000; Earl Clements, $250; Hannah B. Tibbets Schilling, $3,000; Frances W. Tibbets, $1,000; Mildred Tibbets Hughes, $3,000; Penelope M. Wallace, $1,000; Minnie M. Dean, $1,000; Estella W. Paris, $2,000; Florence C. McConnell, $2,000; Mary M. Glascock, $1,000; Myrtle W. Bridges, Dell W. Detran, Eugene and Edward Wallace, $2,000; First Presbyterian Church of Muncie, $1,000; Women's National and Foreign Missionary Society of Muncie, $1,000; and the Christian Church of Madison, $1,000. The remaining portion of the estate is to be divided equalling between Margaret Anna Tibbets, Harriett Schilling and Mildred Hughes, grand nieces.
"The will of Mrs. Spencer, who died Oct. 23, and was signed Dec. 18, 1941, and was witnessed by Thomas E. Brackmen, Reed V. Voran, and Themla T. Retherford. The Merchants Trust Co. and their brother, Eliott Tibbets were named esecutors. The will provides that $1,000 shall be placed in a trust fund to provide flowers for the Spencer buriel plot at Beech Grove Cemetary."
