2048. John SPENCER (186) was a Tailor in 1681 in London, England. He owned Original Purchaser of 250 acres of Land from the Surv'r Gen'l of Penn., N. side of the river on 11 Jul 1682 in Bucks Co., PA, on the Neshaminy River. He died in 1683 or 1684 in Bucks Co., PA, on the Neshaminy River. He was born in London, England. Possibly the same as, or related to, "John Spencer and wife, 2 children, 3 hired servants, 3 slaves" enumerated in Barbados. Listed in 1680 in the parish list of the Towne of St. Michaells, and on 22 Dec. 1679 in the Parish of Christ Church. He was married. Children were:

child1024 i. Samuel SPENCER.
child ii. James SPENCER(187) was born on 27 Nov 1670. (assuming James brother Samuel Spencer is the right Samuel Spencer!)
1707: was in Philidelphia (back from Barbados, presumably) making his application for the warrant for his father John's remaining right of land (the second 125 acres in Bucks County).
